DEVOLVE
You're looking for something. Something has been lost. This planet might hold all the answers but it won't give them willingly.
You need to get physical.
This is a short story, 5-10 minutes, and when the short tutorial ends you're on your own to figure out what insights the planet holds. Ignore their pleas, ignore their screams, what lies in wait will be worth it in the end, I promise.
"SharedArrayBuffer" version, does not work in Firefox. Link to the gotm.io version, their player should work. This was done to avoid audio crackling.

Development
Made this game in a week for GoGodotJam3 CLASSIC ("Evolve") and the GOTM monthly jam ("LOST"), my second solo project in 10 days.
No physics involved, it's all smoke and mirrors. Hell, even the planet is stationary at (0, 0, 0) to enable me to take dirty shortcuts everywhere else, the universe is literally revolving around the planet. Movement is cheated by using two pivot points and rotating them, to avoid time consuming quaternion math and bugs, so it's in practice a 2D sidescroller. It's all about efficiency, lol.

Theme: "Evolve"
I wanted to go the opposite way of the theme, to rather break down and devolve, to go from a higher state to a lower state, to regress and degenerate. Basically become monke and break stuff open.
